THERMACAM GASFINDIR REVOLUTIONIZES LEAK DETECTION AND REPAIR
As a result of extensive research and development, FLIR Systems has developed the ThermaCAM GasFindIR, a new infrared imaging technology that is superior in finding VOC leaks, which is great news for both the environment and the petrochemical industry.
FLIR’s GasFindIR infrared camera is the tool needed to aid in eliminating VOC leaks. The GasFindIR incorporates the latest infrared imaging technology by using a special infrared imager employing a sensitive detector and cold filter to observe active leaks. This precise method surpasses toxic vapour analyzers (TVAs), or “sniffers” which are labour intensive and can only give an indication of a VOC leak without an image.
The GasFindIR’s innovative technology allows what was once invisible to be clear and present. Real-time thermal images of gas leaks appear as “black smoke” onscreen, when in fact they are fugitive gas emissions. Capture and record your images to any off -the-shelf video recorder for easy archiving, documenting or emailing.
