THERMAL METERS FOR GAS FLOW MEASUREMENT
Designed, manufactured and calibrated at Endress+Hauser’s production centre in Switzerland the Proline t-mass marks a significant investment in gas flow technology. Thermal has now been added to the well accepted Proline family concept, available now for Coriolis, EMF, Ultrasonic and Vortex flowmeters, bringing with it the well established user interface, a full range of options for hazardous areas, flexible outputs and versions suitable for Profibus DP and Modbus digital communications. Proline t-mass with its integral gas engine allows the user to select and program from a list of 20 single industrial gases or, as in the case of Biogas, the creation of gas mixtures. Designed to measure most industrial gases and available in flanged or insertion construction, the thermal meter is ideal for low pressure applications with wide measuring turn down requirements and velocities as low as 0.2 metres per second. To support the continued development of the thermal product range Endress+Hauser commissioned a state of the art gas calibration centre in Reinach, Switzerland.
