Submersible wastewater pumps for tough conditions

SUBMERSIBLE WASTEWATER PUMPS FOR TOUGH CONDITIONS

Submersible pumps are widely used in wastewater treatment facilities because they are versatile and easy to use. The AMAREX KRT submersible pumps from KSB combine these performance characteristics with extraordinary levels of reliability and efficiency. The heart of the AMAREX KRT wastewater pump model is the closed jacket cooling system of the motor. Independent of the fluid handled, it ensures optimal heat dissipation in all operating conditions (wet, dry, partly flooded, or permanently submerged). Combined with this feature, an internal heat exchanger supports efficient motor cooling. Thanks to their reliable cooling technology and motors in thermal class H, the pump units provide smooth, long service and thus entail low operating costs. Customers’ investment is protected with a series of monitoring sensors. KSB’s AMAREX KRT submersible pumps have a maximum flow rate of 10,000 m3/h (44,000 GPm) and a maximum head of 100 m (328 ft). With their rugged reliability and excellent energy efficiency, they are ideal for applications in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
