ON-SITE CLUSTER SEWAGE TREATMENT
The Waterloo Biofilter is an efficient, low maintenance trickle filter that treats residential and communal wastewaters. The patented synthetic filter medium optimizes physical properties for low energy, long-term operation and no aerobic sludge production. Re-use for toilets or irrigation is well established in Canada. Self-contained modules for communal sizes are now available in attractive 5,000 and 10,000 gpd ISO shipping container units – ready to plug in on-site. Important features include long-term robustness, remote monitoring, nitrogen removal, and small space requirements. Tested under the stringent NSF-EPA ETV Program.
