PERISTALTIC PUMPS CAN BE USED IN WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS

The 520RE high-pressure chemical injection peristaltic pumps have pressure capabilities reaching 100 psi. The combination of tube elements and pumphead design allows the 520RE to be utilized in a wide range of applications that require accurate metering, dosing and transferring of harsh chemicals, including sodium hy-pochlorite, ferric chloride, sodium bi-sulfite, fluoride, carbon and lime slurries, polymers, aqueous ammonia, potassium permanganate and caustic slurries. Watson-Marlow Bredel 520 Series pumps with patented LoadSure elements offer flows of five GPH at 30 psi to 7 GPH at 100 psi. Also, the 520 Series pumps and LoadSure elements guarantee correct loading every time, as well as easy one-minute maintenance with no snaking, twisting or pinching. Operator safety is ensured at all times by utilizing a shade guard, sealed to withhold any spillages at atmospheric pressure. Drain port plugs allow for easy removal of spilled fluid and an optional float switch leak detector will stop the pump automatically in such conditions. Watson-Marlow Bredel pumps contain fluids within the tube at all times, never allowing the fluids to come into contact with the pump mechanism ensuring gentle, low shear handling of the fluid. Entrained gas is pumped with ease, plus corrosion and damage is restricted to the consumable tubing element. This helps provide predictable life costs for the pump, as the tube is the only part that will need replacing.
