The CX17B compact excavator delivers 15.15 net hp (11.3 kW), a swing speed of 0-8.6 rpm, and a bucket force of 3,417 pounds (1,550 kg). Arm force is 2,248 pounds (1,020 kg), and lift capacity over the side is 1,380 pounds (620 kg).

Cycle times are fast due to a larger-capacity hydraulic pump, and a longer boom provides excellent working range. Plus, machine weight, overall width and arm strength on these units have been upgraded over previous models, and a three-post ROPS provides exceptional visibility and easy entry and egress.
