Emergency power light tower

EMERGENCY POWER LIGHT TOWER

Allmand’s EPL 8N Emergency Power Light Tower is designed to provide a well-lit area for rescue and recovery sites, such as crime and accident scene investigations, fire and rescue emergencies and natural disaster clean-up areas. Powered by an 1,800 rpm, 13.6-horsepower Kubota diesel engine, the EPL 8N features Allmand’s SHO (super high output) lighting system. Equipped with four, 1,000-watt metal halide fixtures, the EPL 8N offers a standard light output of 440,000 lumens. The EPL 8N also incorporates a 500-watt quartz lamp for instant light on the scene.

To further increase light output, the EPL 8N can be equipped with optional 1,250-watt fix-tures, producing as much as 500,000 lumens, while still using the same amount of power as a quartz lamp. Completely self-contained, the EPL 8N leaves emergency vehicles free to return to the station or respond to other emergencies while keeping necessary lighting in place for clean-up and investigation. The EPL 8N also includes an adjustable height, reversible two-inch ball and pintle hitch and is easily towed behind a pickup truck.
