ROLLUX D LINKS ANALOG AND DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY
Broadwest Corporation is introducing the Rol-lux D – the missing link between analog and digital mammography viewing. The importance of workflow efficiency in the transition from analog to digital film is vital to the success of any mammo practice. “If your workflow is interrupted with this transition then I think losing business and not providing the needs to the community will probably be aff ected,” says Dr. Douglas Winjum, of Lincoln Radiology. The Rollux D can be used initially as a film-only viewer with monitors added a ergoing digital. With the Rollux’s auto-masking so ware the backlight to the monitors is controlled and minimized. Close proximity to the LCD monitors and frames promotes accurate viewing and a comfortable reading environment. The Rollux D has 200 half frames above the LCD monitors for a high-volume, ergonomic reading station. These frames accommodate six of the 18 x 24 cm films or four across of the 24 x 30 cm mammos. Radiologists enjoy interpreting both modalities in the same planewithout having to turn.
