Faxitron X-Ray LLC has introduced a new, feature-rich version of so ware for their widely-used DX-50 and MX-20 Digital Specimen Radiography Systems. Version 1.5 marks the release of the EZX-Ray Suite containing two key new tools. ImageAssist combines advanced automatic exposure control, automatic window levelling and auto-sharpening to provide for optimal imaging of all specimens. ImageAs-sist, coupled with a large single-chip CMOS camera for specimen radiography, delivers true ease-of-use and superior images the first time, every time, in less time. Adding a new facet of support, the Faxitron On Call feature allows for realtime, remote consultation with Faxitron specialists. The HIPPA compliant Internet connection provides for applications support and training as well as remote services such as diagnostic checks and upgrades. As with previous versions, version 1.5 maintains full DICOM compliance.
