TITUS – ENTERPRISE DICOM DISC CREATOR

Ashva Technologies announced the release of its enterprise DICOM disc creator – Titus. Titus helps imaging facilities improve the workflow involved in producing DICOM discs, allowing users to create discs from across the network for digital film distribution or archival purposes. It can interface with automatic disc publishing systems to print a custom designed label on top of the CD/DVD.

Titus is available in three versions: Basic, Pro and Archive. The Basic version will allow users to create DICOM discs directly from any DICOM modality, PACS server or workstation. The Pro version includes Query/Retrieve functionality that allows users to create custom discs containing multiple patients. The Archive version is a pre-PACS offering that provides for shelf archival of DICOM discs. As each disc is appropriately labelled, users can easily retrieve it at a later stage and also migrate it to a PACS when implemented.
