OPTIMUM BLADE-DOWN FORCE AND DRAWBAR PULL VALUES
Volvo’s G900 Motor Graders are designed for optimum blade-down force and draw-bar pull values. A long bladebase and wheelbase help to achieve the smoothest graded finish, and with optimal weight distribution, ensure high cutting capability at the moldboard edge.
The G946 has three easy-to-use drive modes: efficient standard tandem drive; rugged All Wheel Drive; or the Volvo exclusive Creep Mode which offers exceptional fine-grading control with minimal scuffing, and eliminates ridging with smooth starts and stops.
The HTE840 transmission was developed exclusively for motor graders. The optional HTE1160 transmission, with Autoshift standard, is the industry’s first 11-speed transmission, providing a lower first gear, higher travel gear and more precision in the working range to match power to the task.
