Paver’s calibration and troubleshooting simplified

PAVER’S CALIBRATION AND TROUBLESHOOTING SIMPLIFIED

Caterpillar’s AP-1055D is a high production 3 m (10-foot) asphalt paver that features a 167 kW (224 hp) Cat C7 engine with ACERT Technology. It can be fitted with a Mobil-trac undercarriage or a steel track undercarriage. There are dual swing-out operator stations with fully equipped consoles and a centre console that incorporates instrumentation and analogue gauges for monitoring machine functions.

Calibration and troubleshooting procedures have been simplified. The hopper has a capacity of 6.1 cubic meters (12.2 metric ton) with a 3.22 m (10-foot 7-inch) wide truck entry width. Left and right augers and feeders are controlled separately, eliminating the need for feeder gates. The AS-2301 and Extend-A-Mat 10-20B screeds are available with an electric screed heating system.
