MULTI-TOOL SHEARS, CRACKS AND CRUSHES
The MT Series Multi-Tool MTR 160 with Cracker/Crusher Jaw Set opens 73 inches and has a throat depth of 50-½ inches. Units have 360 degree continual rotation and a cycle time of six seconds closed and five seconds open at 225 GPM, using Allied-Gator Speed Circuit Technology. The MT Series Multi-Tool model MTR 160 with the Shear Jaw Set delivers 2,100 tons of force, has a 42-inch jaw opening and a 42-inch throat depth.
A single machine carrying this tool has the capacity to perform extreme-duty shearing, cracking and crushing applications, and the patented Quick-Change Jaw Sets can be switched in the field by a single operator in as little as fifteen minutes.
The MT Cracker/Crusher Jaw Set processes reinforced concrete and heavy cast materials, and the MT Shear Jaw Set is ideal for heavy structural steel and scrap metal, and features weld-on interchangeable Solid and Disposable Shear Tip options.
The patented Power-Link and Guide System on these models provides a unique and continual power gain to the dual-moving jaws throughout the tool’s closing phase, and a fully enclosed single-cylinder design offers complete protection from damage caused by material contact.
