High performance, self-cleaning screen media

HIGH PERFORMANCE, SELF-CLEANING SCREEN MEDIA

Flex-Mat 3 high-performance, self-cleaning screen media is engineered to provide producers with increased throughput up to 40 percent over woven wire or polyurethane panels. Flex-Mat technology is a non-woven, self-cleaning wire screen media that can significantly increase aggregate production while it reduces downtime to free blinded or clogged screens.

This product features unmistakable lime green polyurethane strips that align to the screen box’s crown bars and hold individual wires in place as they run from hook to hook. The wires vibrate independently to separate material, virtually eliminating pegging, clogging or blinding. Properly sized for the application and correctly installed, Flex-Mat 3 will greatly increase production on screen boxes of all types, working with everything from crushed stone, sand and gravel, to recycled concrete and asphalt, as well as slag, coal and green waste. Flex-Mat 3 also increases the production volume of spec product because it has up to 30 percent more open area than woven wire screens – allowing 30 percent more properly sized material to continuously fall through. And wear life exceeds that of traditional woven wire by up to three times because there are no cross wires with high wear spots as there is with woven wire. Flex-Mat 3 is available in a very broad range of opening sizes – 30 mesh to four inches – and awide range of application-specific wire diameters for fine tuning. Wire configurations include a diamond-shaped Flex-Mat “D” for most standard applications; wave-patterned Flex-Mat “S” for removal of fines; and triangular Flex-Mat “T” for heavy scalping or fine screening applications.

Major Wire Industries LimitedReader Reply Card #1036Shear baler features 11 to 12 tons per hour capacityConstructed out of WELDOX 700-T1 A, the Colmar SB6200-800 features a baler box made of HAR-DOX 450 abrasion-resistant steel and comes equipped with a remote control and automatic compact cycle. With a shear force of 827 tons, a maximum pushing piston force of 187 tons and a maximum force one and two door of 287 tons, this machine will provide an average production rate of 11 to 12 tons per hour in scrap processing applications.

SB6200-800 shear balers are built robust and easy to use, and feature an 167-hp engine, box length of 19.5 feet, as well as sequential automatic starting, a reversible cutting blade, centralized automatic greasing system, hydraulic bulkward and radio remote control with automatic function. According to Wayne Lanham, of Texas Metals and Recycling in Abilene, Texas: “The 6200-800 produces ferrous bales with ‘great density’ that the company sells directly to area steel mills. The unit has also helped reduce the amount of time spent loading vehicles by two-thirds.”
